I watched Paul McCartney: Man on the Run the other night and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Band on the Run is one of my all-time favorite albums, with the title track an absolute classic.

You can see from the state of the album cover how often I’ve played it!
I first heard the album early in 1974, when I was a spotty 12 year old. My best friend in those days, Matthew (Bugsy) Lawson lent me his cassette to record. (Yes I know home taping kills music but needs must)
Matthew was a year older than me and sported a Brian Connolly hair style. Brian Connolly was lead singer of The Sweet, another of my favorite bands of the seventies.
I never got to see Wings live, but I did manage to see Paul McCartney live a couple of times, once at Knebworth, for the Silver Clef Awards show. That day is worth a post of its own, so I’ll save that for another day.
The other time I saw him was on The New World Tour at Earls Court, London in September 11th 1993.

Looking at the setlist from that concert, he played Jet, Let Me Roll It and the title track from Band on the Run.
If I had Juke Box, Band on the Run would certainly be one of singles on it.
As I don’t have a Juke Box, Band on the Run, is going to be the first single on My Imaginary Juke Box
